Site 113

Napho B, Napho village (Houy Mae Phom area). This site was visited and geolocated by Skopal and Bounxayhip in 2020. They recorded a likely quarry site with one recumbent granite jar positioned in a small stream. The jar is pear shaped and appears to be either unfinished or damaged. The rim style is Flat. There are large granite outcrops ca. 20m to the North up the stream which may have served as the stone source. It is difficult to determine whether the jar had been worked at this location or had rolled down the slope from the likely granite source.
