Unit 5 was established on a knoll in Jar Group 2 in order to provide comparative data between the jar groups at the site. The location of the unit was selected in a flat area to the north of two erect jars (inventory # 52/2/051 on the east and # 52/2/052 to the west). A 3m x 2m unit, the longer side running east-west, was laid out.
