No features were encountered in 1:4 but a
fragment of charcoal (cat. 120) was collected and some
ceramic sherds (cat. 119) were recovered from the
sieve. Another charcoal sample (cat. 124) from beneath
a piece of sandstone in the north baulk was collected.
Four small pieces of limestone and two pieces of quartz
were noted within the excavated area.
