The location of Unit 3 was guided by the discovery using
ground penetrating radar, in 2017, of a subsurface
anomaly. A 2 x 2 m unit was laid out around the area in
which the anomaly was identified by Mr Jamie Speer.
This unit abutted the northern baulk of Unit 2 on the
eastern side. The grass was removed and revealed 1:1.
Note that the elevations on the south side of the unit
are lower than to the north due to the slope of the hill.
